To see which chapters correspond with which arc, see Story Arcs. Press question mark to learn the rest of the keyboard shortcuts, Saitama>Psykorochi>Tatsumaki>Boros>Genos>Orochi. Also, remember how God killed Homeless Emperor and took his powers away? Psyorochi is by far the strongest and best looking villain and I'm glad she exists. Check the sidebar for information! Genos originally saved Tatsumaki from the cadres, but now he saves her from Psyrochi. He has a trump card, but he still isn’t the strongest thing in OPM. Seeing this particular arc getting dilluted is obviously upsetting. Now, there were several changes to the overall plot, but in my opinion, resurrection of Orochi and appearance of Psychorochi was the worst one. Kind of, but it also puts God in a weird position. Can't have the weird looking but surprisingly powerful cadres like Black Sperm or Evil Natural Water steal the show, no, it should be something 100% serious and epic looking like Psychorochi, because we are a full blown shounen now. Will these people be sending death threats to ONE? Don't you mean anything related to fiction is a waste of time? Also Genos can only do that shit for 10 seconds, and who knows what mess it leaves him in when he is drained? I hard agree with Dr-Leviathan that getting hung up on power level consistency is a big waste of time (IMO pretty much a waste of time in any series, character strength is NEVER based on real science/physics /logic no matter what anyone tells you so get over it now). The fact that you are comparing fights and different characters to each other means that you miss the whole point of the story. And that like "wise group" says, people should stop following any useless fictional series and just focus what matters in life. But now... this arc is all over the place. This is a mess. If there were no redraws then I think it’d be safe to say we would at least be finished with the fight by now. Not only the "S class is insane" panel was spoiled due to several reasons (mainly because not most of the heroes were struggling, only some, and one cadre was already defeated by someone other than Saitama), but now the cadres are a complete joke. That's literally the whole point of the story. Press J to jump to the feed. Take your favorite fandoms with you and never miss a beat. This one final part of the arc became overcrowded with events, and the viewer eventually gets tired of non-stop action and tension (which is why most media balances it). Now, there were several changes to the overall plot, but in my opinion, resurrection of Orochi and appearance of Psychorochi was the worst one. This is done as a way to generate a strong emotional response from the event that you want, without dilluting the experience. And there is nothing wrong about it. BS is the peak Dragon... though he wasn't one shotting Atomic Samurai so this one should be changed, like they did in webcomic for Senior Centipede impaling Bomb (with EC instead). It was fun at first but after awhile the story starts to feel like it's "circling the drain" for me. Like, I assumed everyone who liked it was "getting the joke," the whole series is really tongue-in-cheek and over-the-top and frankly silly sometimes, on purpose. The cadres couldn’t do shit to her either in the webcomic without Psykos. I still read stuff here from time to time but mostly I find nothing worth actually commenting on, who cares who is stronger than who, just watch the fights and have a good time, jeez. now it's just "Oh, Tatsumaki (probably even Genos at this point) could easily one-shot most of them if not for her fight with Psychorochi.". Yeah, bet it won't happen to Psykos, and they will have to come up with some contrived reason for that now. This makes it really odd. I should correct something here though.... Tatsumaki ISN’T NEARLY as strong as PsykOrochi, Tatsumaki is high dragon. Also really enjoyed the huge buff they gave Tatsumaki. Like in the webcomic it will be "oh fuck now Tats is out while the cadres are fine". Can't have the weird looking but surprisingly powerful cadres like Black Sperm or Evil Natural Water steal the show, no, it should be something 100% serious and epic. If we are done with Psychorochi, but then we go for a smaller scale conflict, and then go for another uphill again to prepare for Awakened Garou, it will reduce the emotional impact of the latter (in my opinion). I'm still hyped up for the remaining Cadre vs S Hero fights so the power creep didn't ruin anything in my opinion. Every single “critique” you posted is completely subjective, and are very disagreeable. It's so bad. If before it was a close call between more or less even forces (with Tatsumaki being the outlier that required the combined focus of most cadres to be weakened), now it's just "Oh, Tatsumaki (probably even Genos at this point) could easily one-shot most of them if not for her fight with Psychorochi." Before he was a complete mystery, and the only person he gave powers to (at least the only 100% confirmed case) was Homeless Emperor, a human who completely abandoned humanity and rejected human civilization to the absolute extreme and just wanted to die and be one with nature. Your disinterest doesn't negate the fact that there's a real purpose of implementing Orochi in the manga. Yeah, they do, because Murata is amazing, he is most likely one of the best manga artists in the world. I guess, only you here a shounen-fan.Garou also won't show the same destructive power as Psyrochi and it's also fine, because he is so dangerous, not because of his raw power, but because of his techniques. You can't take the eventual fight between heroes and cadres and Garou seriously anymore, because it will pale in comparison to the Psychorochi fight. Wanted to discuss some of the manga additions to the webcomic plot, namely Psychorochi, and how they affect the story. How they were taken out by psykos and BS in the webcomic is some of the laziest writing I’ve seen. The irony when the people who complains about how OP Psykos and Tats is are the same people who are unwilling to accept they are in Boros tier. Also if this continues like it did in the webcomic then either Orochi is getting the ax from god or psykos will just have her powers stripped as she doesn’t fail massively like homeless emperor. Now, he also gave powers to Psykos because... why exactly? What is worse, however, is that this is essentially combat filler that takes a lot of time. Before he turned a regular human into one of the most dangerous dragon level monsters, and now he makes a fusion between two very powerful dragon level monsters... still weaker than Tatsumaki (and almost on par with Genos in destructive power??? Be it power level, or character, predictions, setting, etc. So if we go for someone even stronger than Psychorochi (with even crazier attacks and stuff), then the escalation is still going. You complain that scale of the current battle is too big, but you can'y even accept that Cadres won't look as strong. You can't take the eventual fight between heroes and cadres and Garou seriously anymore, because it will pale in comparison to the Psychorochi fight. Wanted to discuss some of the manga additions to the webcomic plot, namely Psychorochi, and how they affect the story. https://onepunchman.fandom.com/wiki/Garou/Webcomic_Gallery?oldid=187281. Just as a reminder, the hardest hitter of cadres (in terms of destructive power, excluding GS) was Homeless Emperor, he was the "glass cannon" of the group. Even in the big fights. WTF???). Not trying to bash on Murata or ONE at all, I'm a big fan and appreciate anything we get, but it's hard for me to really care that much about the Psycho-rochi fight when I know there's probably another 20ish chapters at LEAST before we even get to the real fight of the arc. Well, Tatsumaki is "Dragon or Above" level, I mean like Orochi who is comparable to GS (confirmed beating GS at her peak). Saitama has already defeated threats larger than the MA before he even met Genos. You keep saying she’s the strongest villain but she’s definitely not. Garou and Golden Sperm fight faster than the eye can see, Garou christens his martial art "God Slayer Fist", Garou is hit with Consecutive Normal Punches, Garou is then hit with Two-Handed Consecutive Normal Punches, Saitama headbutts through Garou's monster form, Garou's monster form looms over Saitama again, Saitama notices Garou is pushing himself too hard, Saitama can tell Garou actually wanted to be a hero, Garou catches a Neo Hero dart in his mouth, Garou defends himself from the Neo Heroes, Suiryu is impressed by Garou's resilience. so do bang and bomb. Cadres are still a very big threat, we have no idea how Orochi VS anyone but Saitama would go, and the battle with them would promise to be intense. How they were taken out by psykos and BS in the webcomic is some of the laziest writing I’ve seen.
